Interim Sales Director

The interim Sales Director Programme [iSD] has been developed to assist with one of the most pressing problems for most start-up and growing businesses: Sales. And more specifically, sales planning, delivery and execution.

The iSD is designed to equip selected companies with the awareness and skills necessary for them to be able to develop the capabilities and capacity to sell independently for sustained business growth.

Companies on the iSD have access to a top-level sales and marketing specialist who helps them develop their business development strategies, equips them with the skills and knowledge needed to execute them, and shares a wealth of hard-won, real world experience won over years of front-line sales and business development – much of it for high-tech and digital businesses.

The interim Sales Director works closely with the businesses to put everything in place: there are group workshops with the other businesses in the iSD; intensive one-on-one sessions; practical tasks to get products and services truly ready for market; and practice sessions to give people real-world sales experience. And after the initial intensive training period, we keep up contact to make sure the advantages gained are permanently installed at the companies, and that the approach is constantly refined.

It’s important to understand the iSD isn’t designed to put a salesperson into a business, but rather to draw the salesperson out of the business - we're there to discuss, lead, encourage, inspire and browbeat if necessary, so that the businesses end up with the ability to build and grow their businesses themselves.
